Southgate bank converts to apartments

As city engineers for the City of Southgate, Hennessey Engineers celebrated alongside Southgate and Wayne County officials, and representatives from Gordon-Begin Properties (developers) and Beztak (facility managers) at an Open House June 21 to announce one of the first private / public partnerships in the area. The vacant Southgate Tower will be redeveloped into housing with 215 apartments and will be called The Bank Tower, in keeping with its history as a former bank headquarters. The $46 million project is expected to open in early to mid-2025.
