Interns acquire field experience

It’s construction season which means we have a new set of civil engineering interns at Hennessey Engineers. Our summer intern program focuses on providing real-world experiences in civil engineering, land surveying, and construction engineering. Interns work as construction inspectors in the field and act as the “eyes and ears” of Hennessey Engineers. Their work enables them to connect their field experience with their classroom experience.

This year, our interns represent both high school and university students – Grosse Ile High School, Wayne State University, Michigan State University, Lawrence Technological University, University of Detroit – Mercy, and Western Michigan University.
