Hollandsworth elected Assistant VP

Hennessey Engineers is proud to announce that on Saturday, April 27, James Hollandsworth, P.E., P.S., was elected to the position of Assistant Vice President for the Central Region for the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES).

The mission of NCEES is to advance licensure for engineers and surveyors to safeguard the health, safety, and welfare of the public. They provide leadership by ensuring uniform laws, licensing standards, and professional ethics are enacted by state licensing boards throughout the 50 states, the District of Columbia, Guam, Northern Mariana Islands, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

James also serves on the State Board of Professional Surveyors. He was appointed by Governor Gretchen Whitmer for a second four-year term in 2023, serving until March 31, 2027. His position requires him to work with LARA to oversee the practice of professional surveyors in the State of Michigan.
